Grandma's Angels

Meghan and I took the girls for their annual studio photos last weekend. Here are some of the results:

I found these red coats on E-bay. We think the hat makes Sarah look Amish!

Of course, this is my favorite!

Obsession!

Steeler obsession - WOW! I've always been a Steeler fan and even 36 years in Redskin country didn't sway me. We would often go to a sports bar to watch the Steeler game when it wasn't being broadcast in our area. I thought Redskin fans were obsessed but they don't even come close to the Steeler fans up here. Everywhere we go, there are banners and signs, people are wearing their Steeler gear, flags are flying on vehicles and buildings, store employees are decked out in black and gold. It is awesome and we are having so much fun being a part of it this time.
Our family room is officially Steeler Country. We've got a huge banner, a flag, a clock and terrible towels. We are having a Superbowl party here on Sunday at 5:00 and you are invited to come watch it with us on the big screen.
Here we go Steelers, here we go!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

She's a wife, a fabulous mother, a daughter, a sister, a musician, a scrapbooker, a fun person to be around and she's my baby. How could she possibly be 30 already?
Happy Birthday Muffin!

Catching Up

I will be the first to admit that I've been horrible lately at keeping this blog updated. We have had a busy month so far. Ron and I escaped the cold weather and snow for a week in Orlando. We enjoyed our Disney Vacation Club and time in the parks, but it didn't seem the same after being there with the grandkids. Some of my cousins, who live in the Orlando area, joined us for a day.
Since our return, it has been snowing and very cold so we haven't been out much except to shovel the driveway and sidewalk. That is one of the pleasures of being retired, though. If the weather is bad, we get to stay home!
We are VERY excited that the Steelers are going to the Superbowl!

Here are a few photos from Holiday 2008. Enjoy!
Katie loved the set of Disney Princesses she got from Uncle Eric.

PapPap's lap, a good book and a banana - what could be better?

Katie got this bed for her American Girl doll. Sarah threw the doll on the floor and used the bed as a seat!

Katie yelled at her, Sarah thought it was VERY funny. Already little sis has learned what buttons to push!

Grandma's girls.

Merry Christmas!

AS IF....

There isn't already enough of me on the internet, I have joined Facebook. See if you can find me!
